These Terms govern your use of Tradiens ("the Service"), operated by Lexecon Kft., a limited liability company incorporated in Hungary ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. Full company identification is set out in our Legal Notice and Privacy Policy.
Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. NOT FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE
Tradiens is a software tool — a trading journal, analytics, and market-research application. It shows you facts and your own data. It does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and it does not recommend that you buy, sell, or hold any asset.
- We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or custodian.
- We never execute orders, place trades, or move your money or assets.
- Our broker connection is read-only — it can read your trade history and nothing else.
- Anything the Service shows you — metrics, charts, market data, AI narratives, coaching, or nudges — is information, not advice. Optional interpretive features are provided for your own reflection only.
Trading and investing carry significant risk, including the loss of your entire capital. All decisions are yours alone. You should seek advice from a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
2. Market data is provided "as is"
The market data in the Service is built on a best-effort basis from free and/or our own composite sources. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and it is not real-time trading-grade data. Where a value is missing, we show it honestly (an em-dash "—") rather than guessing. Never base a trading decision solely on data shown in the Service.
3. Your account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and any two-factor device secure. Sign-in is passwordless; protect your inbox accordingly.
4. Your broker connection
If you connect a broker, you must use a read-only API key. We enforce read-only access and reject write-scope keys, but you are responsible for generating a read-only key on the broker's side. We will never ask for, and you should never give us, keys that allow trading or withdrawals.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; (b) attempt to access other users' data; (c) use the Service for unlawful purposes; or (d) resell or redistribute the Service or its data except as expressly permitted. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
6. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or analysis is accurate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, nor for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you use a free tier, is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
8. Self-hosted ("Sovereign") tier
If we offer a self-hosted version of Tradiens, it is provided under a separate software license included with that distribution, which governs how you may run and modify it. The "Tradiens" name and logo remain our trademarks and are not licensed for reuse. Until a self-hosted distribution is publicly available, this clause is informational only.
9. Termination and your data
You may delete your account at any time; doing so deletes your personal and trading data as described in our Privacy Policy (subject to legally required billing retention). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post changes here and update the "last updated" date; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law and the directly applicable law of the European Union. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Hungary. If you are a consumer, this choice of law and forum does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own EU country of residence, which continue to apply.
Consumer dispute resolution (Hungary / EU): if you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint directly, you may turn to the Hungarian conciliation-board system (békéltető testület) operating alongside the county chambers of commerce, which offers a free, out-of-court route for consumer disputes. Consumers resident elsewhere in the EU may use the conciliation/ADR body available in their own country.
Cross-border disputes (EU): if you are a consumer resident in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre (ECC) network can assist with cross-border disputes.
12. Payment, subscriptions, and refunds (when paid plans launch)
When paid plans are available, subscription terms, prices, the billing cycle, and any refund/withdrawal rights (including the statutory consumer right of withdrawal where applicable) will be presented at checkout and governed by these Terms. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Questions about payment, invoices, or subscriptions: support@tradiens.com.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms, support, billing, privacy, or security: support@tradiens.com. You can also reach us via our contact form.
